The goal of this activity is to reduce the negative social and economic impacts of GBV in targeted areas of Guatemala, contributing to longer-term stability of the country. The proposed activity aims to support women, children, adolescents and other vulnerable groups victims of gender-based violence and intrafamily violence in targeted communities with high rates of violence.   Position Summary: The COP will provide overall technical, operational, and managerial leadership and oversight for the project activities as well as serve as the primary liaison with USAID and the Government of Guatemala.   Reporting & Supervision: The COP will report directly to the Project Director at headquarters and will supervise technical leaders for each project component and a Deputy Chief of Party overseeing operational management teams.

The proposed activity aims to support women, children, adolescents and other vulnerable groups victims of gender-based violence and intrafamily violence in targeted communities with high rates of violence.   Position Summary: The Deputy Chief of Party will work closely with the Chief of Party (COP), providing sound operational management in all operational aspects including communications, finances, office administration, human resources, security, procurement, subcontractors, and grants in compliance with Creative and USG policies and procedures. S/he will support the COP in all technical, operational, and management aspects of the project and ensure that all appropriate reporting requirements are met. The DCOP will be considered acting COP in their absence.   Reporting & Supervision: The Deputy Chief of Party will report to the project’s Chief of Party. S/he will oversee program operations teams, including direct supervision of communications, finance, and human resources managers. S/he will collaborate for oversight of STTA and provide technical oversight as needed. While not directly responsible for overseeing activity implementation, the DCOP will be expected to have a good grasp of the technical aspects of the program and be prepared to step in as needed to support the COP while staying apprised of the local political, legal, and economic context and how to adaptively manage program operations.

Since its founding in 1977 by four enterprising women, Creative has earned a solid reputation among its clients and is well-regarded by competitors and partners alike.    Project Summary  Creative Associates seeks a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Lead for an upcoming USAID-funded project, that seeks to increase the empowerment, productivity, and community engagement of youth, and in particular for out-of-school youth aged 15-25. The primary objectives of the Cross-Sectoral Youth Activity will be to (1) increase and improve access to basic educational, life, and entrepreneurial skills resources, (2) provide youth with opportunities to participate in activities that foster physical and mental well-being, and (3) build or strengthen existing networks that support youth development and community engagement.       Position Summary  The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Lead is responsible for all monitoring, evaluation and learning activities. The MEL Lead must ensure that all activities are in line with USAID policy. The MEL Lead will also be responsible for designing, developing and implementing an effective system to monitor progress, impacts and successes of project activities and performance at all levels. S/he gathers, analyzes, and processes complex information related to all aspects of project activity implementation. S/he will conduct impact assessments, baseline studies, surveys and need assessments to identify necessary changes and future project opportunities. The MEL Lead will ensure that the project complies with USAID performance reporting requirements. The MEL Lead will also lead Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) activities and will be expected to incorporate youth voice and decision-making into MEL and CLA efforts. The MEL Lead will work closely with the COP and DCOP on adaptive management and applying lessons learned to implementation.     Reporting & Supervision  The MEL Lead reports to the Chief of Party and works closely with the Senior Director of Monitoring Evaluation and Learning based in the Washington, D.C. office.

Since its founding in 1977, Creative has earned a solid reputation among its clients and is well-regarded by competitors and partners alike.    Project Summary: The USAID-funded West Africa Trade and Investment Hub (hereinafter referred to as the Trade Hub) is a five-year, $140 million trade and investment facilitation activity that seeks to improve private sector competitiveness in West Africa through a market-based approach. By working in partnership with the private sector and fostering co-investments, the project will generate new private-sector capital investment into key sectors to create jobs and increase trade between the U.S. and West Africa, including through increased utilization of the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA). The project comprises of three main components: - Design and administration of a Co-Investment Fund for private sector partnerships, including a portion for partnerships in Research and Development (R&D) towards innovating and modernizing practices in Nigeria across five targeted value chains. - Technical assistance (TA) that directly supports, coordinates, and engages with qualifying recipients (i.e., partners and grantees) to achieve USAID’s trade and food security objectives. - Urgently respond to the secondary economic impacts of COVID-19, notably to 1) increase access of working capital with financial actors, 2) prevent and mitigate job losses, and 3) help respond to local and regional supply chain disruptions and shortages of critical medical supplies and services as well as for agricultural inputs and food staples. The project aims to achieve a minimum of $400 million in new private sector investment, 60,000 new jobs, and $400 million in exports by 2024. More specifically, in order to increase the value of exports from the West African region, particularly to the United States, the Trade Hub promotes AGOA and works with businesses to export to the U.S. duty-free. The AGOA strategy of the Trade Hub is focused on three main pillars: - Assist West African countries in implementing the AGOA textile visa system. - Provide information and raise awareness of AGOA and U.S. import requirements. - Assist West African businesses in exporting to the U.S. market. Position Summary:   The AGOA Specialist will provide support to public and private stakeholders regarding AGOA outreach and export promotion from West Africa to the U.S. He/she will provide support to governments and regional partners (ECOWAS, UEMOA) on the  implementation of AGOA strategies, support to associations/export agencies on understanding AGOA and U.S. market entry requirements, training for governments and customs related to the textile visa and direct support to firms needing to file required export/import documentation to claim AGOA preferences. The AGOA will support the project management, partner associations and exporters in AGOA-eligible countries in the West Africa region to fully understand and utilize the African Growth and Opportunity Act’s provisions. S/he will provide guidance and support the development of regional or national strategies to increase AGOA utilization.   Reporting: The AGOA Specialist will report to the Chief of Party based in Abuja, Nigeria.
