Project Summary: 

The anticipated USAID LAC Regional Support for Post-Pandemic Equitable Education Activity will aim  to understand and find solutions to the barriers to access and quality of education for learners from marginalized backgrounds as well as the impact of COVID-19 on these groups in the LAC region in order to guarantee high-quality supplementary education for those who are most in need and ensure a more inclusive and equitable access to quality education. 

 

Positions Summary:   

Creative Associates seeks experts for an anticipated donor-funded opportunity in our Education practice area in Latin America. Candidates with prior experience in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply: 

  • Education (including but not limited to access to education for marginalized groups, youth community-based education, and accelerated learning) 
  • Gender, Social Inclusion, and Positive Youth Development 
  • Technology in Education 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in education, International Development, or related field; advanced degree preferred; 
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in relevant technical field; 
  • Experience working with donor-funded programming, experience working with USAID programming is highly preferred; 
  • Demonstrated experience working in Latin America and the Caribbean experience working in Barbados, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Paraguay preferred. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; and 
  • Fluency in English required.
